The Tullimbar Public School difference

Starting school is a big step, so nobody takes it alone

Starting school, or joining a new class, can feel big for children and for parents. At Tullimbar, we get to know every child before they begin, with transition visits and orientation sessions that help them feel at home from the first day. Our support unit and mainstream classes work side by side, so every child can learn alongside their friends. We plan with you, because you know your child best.

Every child is a star, and we make sure each one finds their stage

Every child learns differently, and we shape our lessons so each student is challenged at just the right level. Children who are ready for more get extra opportunities to stretch their thinking, creativity and talents, and those who need extra support receive it. Outside the classroom, students shine in Southern Stars as dancers and singers, and in sport competitions for individuals and teams, learning teamwork, confidence and the joy of having a go.

It takes a village to raise a child, and ours is called Tullimbar

Tullimbar Public School is at the heart of our village, and families are a big part of what makes it special. Our friendly Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association works with the school to support our students, and there is always something to look forward to, from picnics to celebrations and community events such as Book Week, Grandparents and Friends Day and the Tullimbar Community Festive Celebration. Whether you are new to the area or have been here for years, you are welcome to come along and join in.
